The volunteer members of the Bates County Sheriff's Posse truly embody the principle that "our communities come first" by providing manpower that complements and supports our Sheriff Office's law enforcement efforts. These volunteers contribute significantly to public safety, search and rescue, emergency support, community involvement, and carrying on local Bates County rural heritage. They are a valuable resource in times of urgent and emergent situations.
